Editorial standards

Health information should help you understand your options, not leave you with more questions. LoseWell aims to make complex topics clear without overstating what the evidence can tell us.

Evidence you can explore

Our articles draw on clinical guidance, peer-reviewed research, and official information about medicines. We link to sources where they are relevant and explain the difference between established guidance and findings that are still developing.

Medical review, clearly credited

When an article says “Medically reviewed by,” the named clinician has reviewed and approved that article. Their name links to a profile, and we show the medical review date when it is available. We only show that credit when a current professional registration and approval are on record.

Keeping information current

Health guidance changes. We revisit content when important new evidence or guidance calls for it, and show an updated date when an article changes. If you notice something inaccurate or out of date, please tell us. We review corrections and update or remove content when warranted.

Your care comes first

Our articles are for general education. They cannot account for your medical history, other medicines, or personal circumstances. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about treatment.
